Nike Inc. (NKE:US) rose $1.50, or 2.4 percent, to $65.30 in extended trading. The world's largest athletic-shoe maker said second-quarter profit increased to 71 cents a share on higher sales in China and Europe and a weaker dollar. Analysts estimated profit of 66 cents, according to a Bloomberg survey.
Accenture Ltd. (ACN:US) gained $1.54, or 4.4 percent, to $36.50 after the official close of U.S. exchanges. The second- biggest management consulting company posted a first-quarter profit that topped analysts' estimates after winning more contracts.
Activision Inc. (ATVI:US) advanced 77 cents, or 2.9 percent, to $27.57 in extended trading. The company raised its forecast for fiscal third-quarter and full-year sales and profit because of better-than-expected holiday sales of video games.
