this sounds cool, so it is possible to have eurex n-tick and n-volume charts also with Directa datafeed, like with IQfeed, and still be able to route orders to interactive brokers! And what about the backfill?

In the setup described above is it needed to open some Directa's platform or Medved could connect directly to Directa's datafeed without other softwares? I mean: case A or B?

case A: Directa software ---> medved ---> interactive brokers

case B: (medved linked to Directa's datafeed) ---> interactive brokers

is it possible to route Directa's datafeed to Amibroker too as per the following setup?

Directa --> medved ---> amibroker ---> interactive brokers

What are the restrictions on the free accounts?
Free accounts get "Premium" access (unrestricted) for the first month, in order to let you get the full Medved Trader experience. If you do not sign-up for a paid subscription by then, Medved Trader will then work in "Free" Restricted mode. It will have the following restrictions:
Max 20 symbols in the portfolio/WatchList
Max 2 open portfolios
Max 2 Charts
Max 10 days on Intraday Charts
Max 3 Chart Indicators
Max 1 Level II screen
Max 1 trading account (this does not include data feed account)
Import Settings only if exported from your own account

each item you asked about is really independent of each other.
1) Connecting to Directa - you must run either Darwin 2, or their commandline module for API access. MT would connect to that. In the case of Directa (and IB) we cannot connect direct to the broker's servers.
2) you can be getting data from Directa, Interactive Brokers, or both (in separate portfolios). Not a problem. The source of the data is mostly independent of where the trade is sent. The only exception is that the Trade Ticket and Account View windows will only get data from the selected broker.

3) AmiBroker - There is a plug-in for QuoteTracker which has been updated for Medved Trader. It uses the HTTP API that was in QT and is now implemented in MT as well for backward compatibility, so yes, you can hook it up. Need to turn on API in MT - SETTINGS / APPLICATION / API

As for AmiBroker to IB - not really sure how that works.

is it possible to connect Medved to two different datafeeds at the same time, IQfeed (better eSignal) for Eurex and Interactive Brokers for not-Eurex symbols , and route through HTTP API the combined datafeed to Amibroker?

Amibroker is not able to connect to more than one datafeed simultaneously so I was wondering to use Medved as a bridge to do it

Yes. Just create 2 portfolios, open 2 separate portfolio windows and select IQFeed as the source for one and IB for the other. When getting data via AmiBroker, it will not matter which portfolio in MT is retrieving the data.

Lo scanner realtime intraday ed end del Medvedtrader stà arrivando!
Oltre a diversi scanner già preconfigurati per chi come me non capisce nulla di programmazione , avrà la possibilità di creare condizioni personalizzabili a piacere per gli utenti più esperti.
Gli utenti Directa hanno un limite di 300 titoli sottoscrivibili gratuitamente usando il MedvedT (contro i 100 normalmente della Darwin) .

Questa mattina mi hanno detto che per MT il limite è stato portato a 300. Non sò se è una limitazione di Darwin (l'avere un massimo di 100) o se è una eccezione fatta per MT e/o per altri programmi che si collegano attraverso l'api. Sta di fatto cmq che con 300 simboli lo scanner in tempo reale diventa appetibile.

Next update for MT will enable it to handle 300 for Directa. The current version is limited to 100 with Directa.

Questo è il Wizard con cui creare/settare le condizioni da scannerizzare. Semplicissimo e completo, non richiede di conoscenze di programmazione (e meno male, avevo visto l'opzione avanzata per farli in C e mi si incrociavano gli occhi, ma cosi non è molto diverso dal creare gli scanner di tc200o con easyscan)

Posto altri esempi di scan , del 17 may , mercato USA.

Ho notato che Directa ha inserito tra le possibili abilitazioni nei loro sistemi, anche quella per Medvedtrader, percui ora è possibile usare la versione premium (quella base è sempre gratis) pagando la quota mensile di 18 euro direttamente dal conto Directa (quindi senza usare carte di credito nè altro). La prova della premium è sempre gratuita (come da informativa) e senza impegni .
Come sempre Directa un passo avanti al resto dei brokers italiani

Scusa Merlin ma come mai in fasr di installazione giusto da provare le funzionalità bisogna registrarsi con tanto di dati personali il numero di conto... Per fare una prova di tutti sti dati avete bisogno? Mi ha lasciato un pó titubante sto fatto

Once you run MT, if you wish to use Directa as your datafeed/broker, you would need to enter the login info for whatever account you want to use. NOTE: That data is NOT sent to us. It never goes to our servers. It is stored encrypted on your computer.

Ciao Elter.
Premesso che io sono solo un utente, soddisfatto, di MT (da un anno circa) , ti spiego come funziona. Se tu vuoi fare la prova per vedere la piattaforma, non serve il tuo numero di account Directa. Tuttavia se vuoi ricevere le quotazioni da Directa si poichè il programma deve collegarsi all'API di Directa (altrimenti chiunque avrebbe quotazioni a gratis . Nota che ti chiede solo il numero di account, non la passord di Directa. Difatti a garantire la sicurezza ci stà propio il fatto che cmq tu devi avere funzionando in background o l'api di Directa o Darwin (1 o 2 , anche solo la command line). Il programma cosi si collega a Darwin per ricevere quotazioni e per eseguire le operazioni. (da ricordare che olre ad abilitare Medvedtrader, bisogna abilitarsi all'uso delle API nel sito Directa gratuitamente).

In alternativa per provare la piattaforma (ma senza le quoitazioni di Directa nè la possibilità di eseguire operazioni) puoi sempre usare le quotazioni di Yahoo (che ad esempio per il mercato USA sono in realtime aggiornate al secondo) . Per il mercato italiano invece ti servirà collegarti a Directa (che manda fino a 300 quotazioni simultanee attraverso MT) poichè Yahoo dà i dati in differita per l'Italia. (per inserire azioni italiane in Watchlist, la sintassi è FCA:ITA mentre per quelle USA basta immettere il ticker FCA; usa in pratica la sintassi di Yahoo come base universale percui immagino funzioni cosi anche per i titoli degli altri paesi coperti da Yahoo)


Ps: una delle caratteristiche migliori di MT è la flessibilità e la varietà di settaggi per configurare la piattaforma in base ai tuoi gusti. Devo essere sincero ci vuole tempo per imparare tutte le opzioni poichè ne ha parecchie, ma alla fine la puoi "plasmare" a piacere ed è molto più "leggera" della Darwiin 2 .


PS2: Ti posto unno screen di questa mattina , usando ad esempio FCA:ita . Con lo scanner in tempo reale a sinistra e 4 grafici 1,5,30 e daily, book , time sales , monitor portfolio e order entry.
Come vedi lo scanner, in tempo reale, tiene sotto controllo i titoli in watchlist (massimo 300 sono le quotazioni che manda Directa) e ti segnala i titoli che rispettano le condizioni che tu scegli (per esempio se vuoi vedere quali titoli stanno tradando più di 20000 azioni al minuto, oppure un cross macd, oppure una codizione di oversold od un'uscita dalle bbande di boll, un supoeramento del price channel ecc, ecc). Il tutto ripeto oin tempo reale, dandoti la possibilità di controllare ed eventualmente agire in secondi.



Qualcuno mi chiedeva se ci sono altri colori disponibili; in realtà ci sono diversi "setup" di colori disponibili di base, che possono cmq essere modificati a piacere.

Per chi volesse provarlo e creare un portfolio da monitorare, vi passo una lista con circa 260 simboli della borsa italiana. Basta pigiare "New portfolio" , dargli un nome e fare copia incolla dei simboli:
