Kristian Heugh

Kristian Heugh is the Head of the Global Opportunity team and leads Global and International investing for Counterpoint Global. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2001 and has 18 years of investment experience. Previously, Kristian was a co-portfolio manager of a technology strategy and an international equity strategy while a member of the Global Research Group, working closely with Counterpoint Global. Prior to that, he was a technology analyst for MSIM's Sector Rotation multi-cap growth strategies. Kristian received a B.A. in economics from Duke University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Counterpoint Global, one of our Active Fundamental Equity teams, seeks to make long-term investments in unique companies whose market value can increase significantly for underlying fundamental reasons. Their portfolios are typically concentrated and differentiated from their benchmarks. Counterpoint Global consists of 26 people, including 16 investment professionals and two disruptive change researchers.
