Raptor Technology Group Inc (OTCBB:RAPT) Makes Another Fresh Start
Raptor Technology Group Inc.(OTC:RAPT) has just stepped into the stock market. The newly formed company is a result of the Merger Agreement signed last Thursday. It stated that RTC merges with Raptor Fabrication and Equipment,Inc and Raptor Technology Group shall be the name of the surviving corporation. Since then, activity on the stock market was first observed during yesterday`s session when the shares of the newly formed enterprise were traded between $0.2 and $0.4 per share.
The company`s main line of business relies on three independent activities: biofuel technology, waste to power system and mineral recovery processes.
As a technology supplier of products for the above mentioned, high hopes and risks are associated with its future.
It is important to mention that the company has no previous exposure to this particular industry. In fact, several changes in the name and the principal activities are part of Raptor`s history of operations. The company was founded in 2007 under the name Giddy-Up Productions Inc. Back then, the main line of business was the production of motion pictures. Yet, according to the SEC reports filed by it, these activities never commenced and no production or revenues were accounted for.
Giddy-Up Productions recently changed its name to Branded Beverages, Inc and shortly after that to Raptor Technology Group Inc. One fact of particular interest is that even though Raptor Technology Group is the name of the surviving corporation, its board of directors would actually be formed only from members of Raptor Fabrication and Equipment. logo_rapt.png
The company CEO Tom Gleason announced today that Raptor Tech has started its newest bio-diesel plant for its customer Greenwave Biodiesel of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Given the past operations of the company, or rather the lack of such, it is yet to see whether this time the enterprise would be successful and if its stock would increase in price and volume.
