relatively high guarantees. The financial strength of SNS REAAL Insurance activities also reflects their

The business mix of SNS REAAL Insurance activities consists of life insurance (77% of gross premiums

38% of total assets of SNS REAAL Group and 70% of its shareholders' equity. Since May 2006, SNS
