It operates in three segments: Industrial Goods Packaging, Consumer Goods Packaging, and Warehouse Logistics. The Industrial Goods Packaging segment provides logistics services for manufacturers of capital and investment goods, such as packaging consultancy and design, production of special packing’s, permanent storage packaging technology, hazardous goods packaging, distribution management, document management and customs processing, and management of large projects, as well as export packaging for air, land, and sea; and disassembly and spare parts warehousing services. This segment serves mechanical and plant engineering, and power station construction industries. The Consumer Goods Packaging segment provides a range of services, including design, printing, die cutting and finishing, preassembly and assembling, and customized contract packing; and warehouse planning and management, distribution logistics, transport coordination, and document management services. The Warehouse logistics segment offers logistics services, such as storage planning/management, inhouse-outsourcing, traceability, tracking, handling of small volumes and samples, hazardous goods management, distribution management, document management and customs processing, and cargo handling services. The company was formerly known as D.Logistics AG and changed its name to Deufol AG in December, 2010. The company was founded in 1998 and is based in Frankfurt, Germany.
