VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 18, 2006) - Kilgore Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:KAU),(shares issued: 17,983,276) is pleased to announce that it has acquired two Wyoming State mineral leases for uranium in north-eastern Wyoming. The leases cover 1,280 acres and 800 acres respectively for a total acreage of 2,080 acres. Management believes the acquired lands to be favourable for the occurrence of sandstone hosted roll-front style uranium mineralization.
This acquisition continues the company's efforts towards expanding and advancing its portfolio of uranium properties to benefit from the rise in the price of uranium.
